• If you have trouble with a confirmed address through our shopping cart system or want to send an order to another address other than your confirmed address then you can use Paypal to send the quasi-cash total of the Shopping Cart to our email address, sales@escooterparts.com. This account is a cash only account without the restrictions of our Shopping Cart account. We can send a paypal money request to you by email. You will not be able to pay using a credit card but you can pay by cash from your paypal account where you have deposited money using an echeck, or money transfer from your bank account. • For orders only we provide a local Houston Area number and a USA toll-free 800 number that allows you to call us Monday through Friday, 10 am - 7 pm Central Time with your order when you will be using Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express. You must have a verifiable credit card billing address or the order will not process. If your billing address is verified we may be able to ship your order to another specified address.   You must be ready with the list of items to purchase (print the shopping cart), the cost with shipping for each item as indicated once you place the item in the shopping cart, the item number or description, and have your credit card available in hand (not just the number and expiration) since you will need to provide the security number written on the card that we ask for. You will be required to provide a home telephone number (not a cell number), work number if you are calling from work, your credit card billing address, and your email address. We will confirm your order by email, and further provide tracking and shipping information upon shipment. We also will accept all information by email. All information is verified during processing. We do not provide order information until later in the day, emailing the tracking, etc. If we have problems we will email before we attempt to call or otherwise contact you.

  If you do not have an email address please take the time (only a minute to complete) to register at http://yahoo.com for a Yahoo ID and mail account or http://hotmail.com for a temporary email account where we can email you the tracking and any other information concerning your order. You may not call back on the 800 number for this order information since it is not available in that department or at our office at (281) 997-6907. We only provide further information about your order by email. Most orders deliver in 1 to 4 business (Mon-Fri) days in the USA (some very heavy orders deliver in 5 days), excludng holidays. You can always check our availability page for parts and scooters for updates on inventory status and shipping schedules. If your item does not arrive within a reasonable period of time, say a week if not a back-ordered item listed on our availability web page, then please establish a hotmail email address (or yahoo, etc.) that is free and gives us the ability to communicate with you concerning your order as we have information for you from our suppliers.

E-MAIL THE ORDER

• Write down what you want and that you will issue a payment using your paypal account or by money order. Paypal accepts credit cards and bank transfers into your paypal account and you may send money to anyone with an email account. You can use our shopping cart to find the total of your order. Once you have a paypal account you can go to your paypal account and transfer the total calculated on the order form to our email address, coleco@ecoleco.com. Include the order content and your paypal confirmed mailing address. If you have trouble with a confirmed address through paypal or want to have an order shipped to another address other than your paypal confirmed address then you can send the quasi-cash total of the Shopping Cart to our email address, sales@escooterparts.com. In this case you will be sending cash and emailing us what the cash will be used to purchase. The cash amount is the total in your Shopping Cart, plus 6.75% state tax if you live in Texas. The order will then be processed and shipped.

MAIL A MONEY ORDER CHECK

• Print the section of the catalog page for the scooter you want or shopping cart page after you have added all the items you wish to purchase. These items already have normal shipping and handling included for the lower 48 USA states only, with some exceptions to Alaska and Hawaii and Canada. For other destinations you can email for the additional shipping amount. If you are in Texas or Iowa, add 6.75% Sales Tax on the order total for parts, and 6.75% tax on scooters shipped to Iowa. Get a Money Order type check from a USA bank or bank branch, USA post office, or USA convenience store for the total amount of the scooter or in the Shopping Cart payable exactly on the pay line to FOWLER (if foreign, drawn on a USA bank in US Funds). Money Orders received with anything other than FOWLER on the pay line will be returned. We reserve the option to charge a small handling fee for return of money orders incorrectly made payable! We do not accept personal checks or money orders or postal money orders from sources outside the USA with the exception of bank money orders on a USA branch bank in US dollars! Money orders still must process for 7 - 10 days through the bank before clearing and fund transfer. In the rare event that some item you have ordered becomes unavailable then your money order or cashier's check will be returned.

BE SURE TO PRINT YOUR NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBER, AND A VALID EMAIL ADDRESS ON THE PRINTOUT (YOU CAN EASILY GET AN EMAIL ADDRESS FROM WWW.HOTMAIL.COM GOOD FOR SEVERAL MONTHS)!
• (2) GET A MONEY ORDER/CASHIER'S CHECK FROM A BANK, POST OFFICE, OR CONVENIENCE STORE AND MAKE SURE IT IS MADE PAYABLE EXACTLY TO 'FOWLER' ON THE PAY LINE. DO NOT PRINT ANYTHING ELSE ON THE PAY LINE OR WE MAY NEED TO RETURN YOUR PAYMENT SINCE WE CANNOT CASH CHECKS OTHERWISE PAYABLE.

WHY A VALID EMAL ADDRESS IS IMPORTANT

A vailid email address is important for most all merchants. Like us, most merchants on the internet rely on other processing agencies like Paypal to receive and distribute your submitted funds. When you use the shopping cart system for most merchants it is processed through Paypal, or Ebay who owns Paypal. The transaction is recorded with a transaction number and provided to the supplier of the part, scooter, or service you have specified. Paypal, for us, is the entity who holds and distributes the funds, and sometimes makes refunds when orders are made in error or we cannot supply what is asked of us.

THIS IS WHY A VALID EMAIL ADDRESS IS SO IMPORTANT. If you just make something up and then forget or have no access to that email address then refunds can never reach you. If you make a purchase using a credit card and the order cannot be processed for shipment then a refund is submitted back to Paypal according to the email address you provided. You can opt to use those funds for another internet purchase, or to send money to another email address, and even have the money sent to a bank account when you are registered and verified with that email address. The cash will be available, simply and easily to your needs or back to your bank. The alternative is to file a credit card charge back, a long and deliberate process, that will eventually get a credit back to your credit card. It is so much easier to just use a valid email address and allow the funds to be used or refunded to your checking account.

Another reason for using a valid email address is tracking and contact information. We send periodic tracking and report information to your email address to let you know the status of your order. Most customers want to know when an order has been shipped and when to expect it. Email is the only, fastest way to provide this information from us since most orders deliver within 1 to 4 days of receipt, depending on where you are in the USA and what items you may be ordering (for example, scooters in high demand ship in the order they are received and we may ship the same or next business day usually).

Email addresses are easily obtained from Yahoo.com, or for a short period of time from hotmail.com (hotmail addresses expire if unused - they are furnished by Microsoft). You can quickly receive an email address to receive contact and if necessary refunds, credits, etc. that you can reclaim.

NOTE: We do not keep any record of your email other than to satisfy your orders. We do not ever resell your email address to another agency or for reuse in contacting you. Your email addres is always considered very private information and will never be divulged to anyone for any use. It is very necessary for us to make refunds through Paypal, provide partial refunds or credits, or be able to give you necessary information about your order. Use a valid email address for ordering, for collection of refunds, and if you wish please register at the time of your order with Paypal so you will already have a password and an account that you can access. Paypal, owned by Ebay, is very sensitive to all information you provide. You can record bank account information for cash transfers, credit cards to send funds to your account, and much more, safely and securely. We have been doing this for over seven years without any problem. You can depend on Paypal for merchant activity. If you need to call Paypal about any activity or issue, call Paypal's Customer Service Center at 1 888 221-1161.

FINALLY: There is one exception when and only when you have called us with your credit card to place an order. Paypal still processes all credit card order, but we can process refunds using your credit card information. When a order must be refunded or a partial credit applied (one time only) then we do have the ability to make restitution using your supplied information. This is the only time we see your credit card information when you actually call and give us this information over the phone (and we verify your phone number to the address, plus paypal verifies your credit card information using the information we request). If a shopping cart is used then Paypal, and Paypal only, has all the credit card information, cash transfer information, etc, and must be contacted for credit card refunds, mistakes, etc, IF you do not provide a legitimate credit card address for contact. They become the merchant of record since they process your order directly instead of us.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

Shipping and handling is already included in each item placed in your Shopping Cart for the contiguous 48 USA states. Some states might require additional shipping for heavy items like scooters above the shipping fee included in the total. We reserve the right to advise you that shipping may cost additional after you order. Generally some parts of the northeastern and northwestern United States might rarely need a shipping adjustment for heavy parts, and scooters shipping to the east coast or northwest coast may rarely require some additional shipping.

IOWA STATE TAX

Iowa residents are charged 6% state tax for X-treme scooter deliveries. The warehouse in Iowa must collect state tax for deliveries to residents in Iowa. Texas state tax is also collected for scooter orders but refunded back to the customer after delivery when the scooter is shipped from the central warehouse. Texas tax is only retained for scooters shipped from our store in Texas.

PARTS AND SCOOTER PRICING

We reserve the right to raise or lower our parts and scooter pricing as deemed necessary due to wholesale price fluctuations. We do not negotiate the price of parts or scooters. Under the rare instance that a typographical error or mistake beyond our control produces a pricing error, we will advise the customer of the error and refund the purchase price immediately upon discovery. The error will be corrected as soon as possible if we have any control over the mistake correction. Prices are in USA Dollars for parts sold for delivery in the lower 48 USA States and Canada by Priority Mail or UPS/DHL/FEDEX Ground shipping. We do NOT normally ship scooters outside the contiguous USA. Shipments of scooters to Alaska and Hawaii are by Air Freight, which normally at least doubles the cost of the scooter with the additional shipping fee, so we do not recommend ordering scooters except for the included shipping for delivery in the contiguous USA. We do not ship any scooters internationally due to customs problems and high cost of shipping!
